Hello, I saw your post of the Pure Marble Slab for Master Bath, and I’d like to do something similar. I’m just confused of how the marble would be maintained, as it can easily absorb water and leave water spots and etches.
Thank you,
Ms. Campbell

Many people use squeegees to remove water beads from inside their shower so this can help prevent water spots and etches. You should also clean up soap scum right away so it doesn’t build up. All natural stone should be sealed at least once a year, especially in heavy-traffic areas. Get this done professionally at first and you can maintain it yourself. One more thing to consider is whether or not you are on well-water. Well-water is notorious for leaving rusty orange streaks in showers; so I would be very wary about using marble in the shower, especially a light colored one.
