I would be very cautious about using marble in the outdoors since it can so easily get stained. Are you planning to use the tiles for the floor / ground or are you creating an outdoor countertop for an outdoor kitchen? I would consider a darker granite slab for your outdoor kitchen top because of the thickness and size of the slab versus thinner tiles with many grout lines. Make sure to seal the material of your choice fairly often to protect it from the elements.
