Marble is a very porous material; it can absorb moisture but also allow evaporation. Sealing it more often should help so that water and other liquids don’t absorb deeply into the stone. Be careful not to leave a wet glass on your marble very long, especially on dark marbles, as doing this can leave a water ring on your counter. I’ve had several customers that reported this.
