I have a property in Toronto and am planning to redo my floors. What is the advantage of using marble tiles over other materials?

This is a very subjective question so I will simply explain these materials.

Natural marble and granite tiles can come in polished and matte finishes. In my personal opinion, I would use polished tiles on the walls and matte for the floors for more traction in case of liquid spills.
- Ceramic tiles are fired (cooked) and then coated with the desired color.
- Porcelain tiles are made the same way as are ceramic tiles, only they are denser, fired longer, and the desired color goes throughout the tile so if (heaven forbid) it chips, you’ll still see the original color.
