You did not say which kind of mosaics you plan to use: Marble, Travertine, or Glass / Ceramic. If it is glass, you can clean it with just
about anything but if it is natural stone only use warm water and a mild
detergent or else it may etch. You
should also follow up by cleaning it with proper natural stone cleaner once a
week to protect your investment, whether it is countertop, floor, or
backsplash. Also, if your tile is
natural stone, you should seal it periodically, especially in the high traffic
areas. This also makes it easier to
